About The Organization
The Life Church started in the Fall of 2001, but before this date, there were many great men and women of God who paved the way for The Life Church to begin. Though our name has changed over the years from Valley Chapel, to Valley Christian Fellowship, to The Life Church, our vision has remained the same: to know God and reach people. We are a vibrant church that loves Jesus and loves the community of the Wood River Valley.
Mission
Our Mission is to be a people after God's own heart! We pursue an atmosphere of faith in the Presence of God; to encourage, equip, and release every member of the Body of Christ, to reach and disciple the lost.
Vision
Our Vision is to see the purpose of God fulfilled in and through His people. A healthy church starts with an inlet where people come and dedicate their lives to Christ. After the inlet there is a reservoir where people begin to grow in their relationship with Christ and are trained and discipled in the area that God has gifted them. The outlet is people functioning in their gifts and being released into the community and beyond to touch people with the Message of the Gospel in their area of influence. “Knowing God, Reaching people”.
