A Dark to Light Project

Dark to Light Productions is a video production company in the Wood River Valley. The vast majority of our clients are nonprofits, so we know firsthand the incredible impact of their work. We wanted to create a clean, simple way for people to connect with the missions that matter to them, and the Wood River Donor Directory was born.

Why We Built
This Directory

This directory was created to make it easier for our community to discover, understand, and support the nonprofits that strengthen the Wood River Valley.

Welcome

Here’s Why This Site Exists

The Wood River Valley community stands on a cornerstone of generosity. When new neighbors set down roots in the area, we want it to be simple to find causes that matter to you and get involved. As a company that works with many nonprofits, we feel uniquely situated to help people find missions that matter to them. This is a story of collaboration, built through shared values of compassion, stewardship, and innovation—designed to help future generations carry forward the spirit of giving that defines the Wood River Valley.

As our community grows, more and more people are arriving who want to be part of that… but don’t yet know where to start. That’s normal. The culture of giving here is real, but it can be hard to see until someone points you toward it. This directory is meant to be that starting point.

Our Purpose is Two-Fold
Help new (and longtime) residents
discover what’s here.

We want you to be able to explore local nonprofits by category, learn in detail what they do, and then sit down with your family to thoughtfully decide together which causes matter most to you and your community.

Make small monthly giving feel
normal and powerful.

Large gifts matter, but long-term stability comes from many people giving smaller amounts consistently. Monthly giving helps nonprofits plan, operate, and grow, spreading the responsibility and joy across the community.

Give Directly

This site doesn’t process donations or act as a middleman. We simply connect you to organizations so you can give directly, volunteer, or partner in ways that fit your life.

If this helps you find one organization you love, and support it consistently, then it’s doing its job.
